Welcome to another episode of the podcast. 2024 is shaping up to be an exciting year. I have a lot planned inside the Get Paid to Get Published program, with nutrition coaching/counseling for cookbook writers, and some exciting news about the podcast so stay tuned!

Today I have an interview with Gerry Romano. Gerry is a retired publishing and communications consultant who lives in Virginia. Gerry enjoyed an extensive career as a magazine editor and writer for not-for-profit associations. After she retired she began creative writing – and self-published 3 books – biographies of her mother, mother-in-law, and most recently her autobiography and has also embarked on a family cookbook project. Today on the show Gerry and I discuss how not everyone cooks, but can still love cookbooks, how to handle special occasions as a non-cook, and her advice for writing a family book or cookbook.
